  2. Antenna: An 868 MHz antenna is crucial for optimal range. Most nodes are supplied with a stock antenna, you can upgrade for more range. Check our antenna section for more details.
  3. Software: Flash the Meshtastic firmware onto your device and install the mobile app on your phone. The app allows you to connect to your device, configure settings, and send/receive messages.

Important Note: Ensure your device has the SX1262 radio chip for the best performance. Avoid older models like the T-Beam v.0.7 or V1.1.
